وبلاگ موج آزادی خبر مرگ سهراب اعرابی از سوی خانواده وی و مسولان اوین تایید شد. سهراب اعرابی، 19 ساله سال آخر دبيرستان و آماده براي امتحان كنكور در اعتراضات دهمين دوره رياست جمهوري در 30 خرداد روز شنبه بازداشت و به مكان نامعلومي منتقل مي شود . بعد از پيگيريهاي پي در پي خانواده بخصوص مادرش متوجه مي شوند كه وي در زندان اوين است، مادر اين جوان در روز سه شنبه 16 تير با گذاشتن كفالت در دادگاه انقلاب هر روز بعد از ظهر منتظر آزادي فرزند ش بود, با وجود اين كه اين مادر مي دانست كه فرزندش در زندان اوين است ولي خيلي نگران بود و ميگفت ميترسم بچهام را بكشند. اين مادر عكسي از فرزندش تهيه كرده بود و به هر زنداني كه آزاد ميشد عكس عزيزش را نشان مي داد و از آنها ميپرسيد كه آيا او را مي شناسند و يا در زندان ديده اند؟ او ميگفت به هر كجا و هر كسي مراجعه ميكنم جواب نميدهند و ميگويند صبر كن آزاد ميشود. اين مادر كارش از صبح تا شب جلو زندان ماندن شده بود تا اينكه از طرف قاضي مر تضوي خبر آمد كه سهراب اعرابي در زندان درگذشته است، خانواده اش را خبر كنيد تا جنازه فرزندشان را تحويل بگيرند.

I’ve never read the Koran, but the Bible also says things that are “questionable.” I think all religions teach the same thing: Do the right things and be respectful to all. Afshin, I read the comment. No matter how big or small the problem is that happens everywhere…even in America where freedom of speech is “acceptable.” It’s in schools, communities, everywhere. I had a teacher from Lebanon and she told us that in America people don’t fight as hard for their rights as they do in other countries. I don’t know about that. If anyone close to Neda (family and friends) is reading this I am so sorry for your loss! I’m in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in the U.S.A. and for some reason I felt as if I was watching one of my own relatives/friends. I’ve never been outside the U.S. before in my life. All I can say is sometimes, before people expect changes from others they must change themselves first. Stereotyping an entire race of people and holding a grudge against someone because of something their ancestors did (like some of the people on here are doing) is just stupid. It doesn’t help, and it makes things worse. I’m usually confused when I see some of the things that people accuse Americans of because I can’t relate to the stereotypes. وبلاگ موج آزادی خبر مرگ سهراب اعرابی از سوی خانواده وی و مسولان اوین تایید شد. سهراب اعرابی، 19 ساله سال آخر دبيرستان و آماده براي امتحان كنكور در اعتراضات دهمين دوره رياست جمهوري در 30 خرداد روز شنبه بازداشت و به مكان نامعلومي منتقل مي شود . بعد از پيگيريهاي پي در پي خانواده بخصوص مادرش متوجه مي شوند كه وي در زندان اوين است، مادر اين جوان در روز سه شنبه 16 تير با گذاشتن كفالت در دادگاه انقلاب هر روز بعد از ظهر منتظر آزادي فرزند ش بود, با وجود اين كه اين مادر مي دانست كه فرزندش در زندان اوين است ولي خيلي نگران بود و ميگفت ميترسم بچهام را بكشند. اين مادر عكسي از فرزندش تهيه كرده بود و به هر زنداني كه آزاد ميشد عكس عزيزش را نشان مي داد و از آنها ميپرسيد كه آيا او را مي شناسند و يا در زندان ديده اند؟ او ميگفت به هر كجا و هر كسي مراجعه ميكنم جواب نميدهند و ميگويند صبر كن آزاد ميشود. اين مادر كارش از صبح تا شب جلو زندان ماندن شده بود تا اينكه از طرف قاضي مر تضوي خبر آمد كه سهراب اعرابي در زندان درگذشته است، خانواده اش را خبر كنيد تا جنازه فرزندشان را تحويل بگيرند.

Jamshid, I tell people that all the time! I’ve never read the Koran, but the Bible also says things that are “questionable.” I think all religions teach the same thing: Do the right things and be respectful to all. Afshin, I read the comment. No matter how big or small the problem is that happens everywhere…even in America where freedom of speech is “acceptable.” It’s in schools, communities, everywhere. I had a teacher from Lebanon and she told us that in America people don’t fight as hard for their rights as they do in other countries. I don’t know about that. If anyone close to Neda (family and friends) is reading this I am so sorry for your loss! I’m in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in the U.S.A. and for some reason I felt as if I was watching one of my own relatives/friends. I’ve never been outside the U.S. before in my life. All I can say is sometimes, before people expect changes from others they must change themselves first. Stereotyping an entire race of people and holding a grudge against someone because of something their ancestors did (like some of the people on here are doing) is just stupid. It doesn’t help, and it makes things worse. I’m usually confused when I see some of the things that people accuse Americans of because I can’t relate to the stereotypes. There are lots of good Americans! Furthermore, it’s pathetic how people are using Neda’s memorial book to vent their anger. I’m keeping Iran, Iraq, Sudan, and everyone who’s fighting for freedom and democracy in my thoughts. Good luck and please try your best to stay safe? RIP Neda.

I have just seen some pictures of this young woman called Neda. I’ve been very impressed, since it reminded me all that had happened in my own country not very many years ago. I suppose that these lines cannot do much… lines cannot do much for those that left us… but I hope that her sacrifice will mean something, at least for us, those who are still living… maybe, thanks to her, too… forgive us
